Where does the data come from?
From public building permit records. Each city publishes them on its own open data portal, and every source is listed at the bottom of this page. We merge repeat filings of the same job, keep the business details and leave out individual people's names.
How fresh is it?
Weekly. Each list covers 7 full days of permits, ending 2 days before it is pulled, because cities post each day's permits late. The rows on this page are permits issued Oct 19 to 25, 2026, pulled Oct 27, 2026.
